Job summary

Mexcor, a Houston-based beverage importer and distributor, seeks an Inventory Control Manager to lead inventory control and drive supply-chain efficiency at our headquarters. You will oversee cycle counts, ERP data accuracy, reorder points, and collaboration with procurement and warehouse teams.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, data-driven, with 1–3 years in inventory control and 1–3 years in leadership, proficient in Excel/Word, and able to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of experience in warehouse or inventory control.
• 1–3 years of prior leadership experience required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Forklift experience is an advantage.
• Ability to pass background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and enforce inventory control procedures.
• Monitor and maintain accurate inventory records in ERP systems.
• Conduct cycle counts and physical inventory audits; reconcile variances.
• Coordinate with procurement to manage reorder points and purchasing strategies.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff on organization, labeling, and storage standards.
• Track inventory turnover and minimize excess, obsolete, or slow-moving stock.
• Supervise and train inventory control team members.
• Analyze operational data to identify trends and cost-saving opportunities.
• Create dashboards and reports to track KPIs (inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, cycle time).
• Support demand forecasting, supply planning, and capacity analysis.
