Job summary

RJW Transport, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk Floater to cover multiple Illinois facilities, perform cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, and support inventory teams. The role rotates across buildings and requires reliable transportation and a working cell phone.

Shifts include 1st shift 7:00 am – 3:30 pm or 2nd shift 6:00 pm – 2:30 am. The floater works mainly in the warehouse using RF devices and may travel to other RJW Illinois locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 months related experience in Inventory Control.
• Minimum 1–3 months related experience in warehouse environment.
• Forklift certification a plus; willing to be certified.
• Experience using WMS software (Synapse preferred).
• PC literate with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel and Access Database.

Responsibilities

• Performs physical counts of inventory items to maintain accuracy.
• Counts and reconciles inventory by part numbers and locations.
• Inputs inventory data to ensure integrity and completes documentation on time.
• Investigates discrepancies and recommends corrective actions.
• Travels to other RJW Illinois facilities as needed.
• Operates RF Gun or Tablet for 80% of the day; remaining time at a computer terminal.
