Job summary

TravelCenters of America is seeking an Inventory Control Team Member to support cycle counts, process receipts, and maintain the parts room. You will review previous work orders, process POs and DRs, reconcile invoices, and handle inventory transfers including warranty work.

The role supports efficient operations across TA Truck Service locations with a focus on accuracy and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. A HS diploma or GED and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in inventory management including cycle counts, check in orders, and processing inventory receipts.
• Maintain the parts room and ensure accurate stocking and labeling.
• Review Work Orders from previous shifts for accuracy and completeness.
• Process Purchase Orders and Requests for Documentation (DRs); reconcile invoices and investigate discrepancies.
• Record inventory transfers, including warranty work, and assist with receiving and storage of merchandise.

Job Summary

Our Truck Service team is comprised of nearly 3,000 highly skilled technicians and spans coast to coast. With over 280 locations across the country, TA Truck Service has a solid foundation and a forward-thinking vision. The Inventory Control Team Member assists with inventory management responsibilities including cycle counts, check in orders, processing inventory receipts and maintaining the parts room. Our Inventory Control Team Member helps ensure we are returning every traveler to the road better than they came!

In this role, you can expect to:

• Work in a fun, trusting environment focused on providing great service where the expectations of the customer are exceeded
• Understand the day-to-day operation of all computer systems in the Shop Profit Center and operate POS systems properly and efficiently
• Reviews Work Orders from previous shift(s) for accuracy and completeness
• Process Purchase Orders and Requests for Documentation (DRs), Reconcile invoices for payment, research negative on hand inventory discrepancies, research charge backs and process inventory adjustments
• Assist in taking inventory, inventory cycle counting, ordering, receiving, marking (PLU Number) and storing merchandise; Process inventory transfers including warranty work

Typical Physical Demands

In this role, the team member is regularly required to talk and hear.
