Job summary

Mills Fleet Farm e-Commerce Enterprises, LLC is seeking an Inventory Control Coordinator in Hermantown, MN to act as the in-store SME for inventory movement and item resolution. You will mitigate shrink and train Team Members on inventory accuracy.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 2 years of retail inventory, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to be forklift certified.
• Basic computer skills and MS Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain store inventory accuracy and the integrity of count-ready backrooms, cap stock, and yard.
• Collaborate with Loss Prevention and Corporate Inventory Control on shrink concerns and discrepancies.
• Enter, modify, and audit inventory adjustments.
• Understand reason codes for adjustments and their impact on inventory and shrink.
• Maintain filing of paperwork and forms.
• Coordinate monthly, quarterly, or special event inventory.
• Lead the store team during the annual inventory count, including prep, organization, and authorization.
• Ensure completion of Return to Vendor/Warehouse and Defective Return Processing.

The Inventory Control Coordinator is the in-store subject matter expert for all things related to inventory movement and item resolution. The role is responsible for shrink mitigation and training Team Members on the importance of inventory accuracy.

Job duties:

• Responsible for maintaining store inventory accuracy and the integrity of "count ready" backrooms, cap stock, and yard which are consistently maintained.
• Work collaboratively with Loss Prevention and Corporate Inventory Control on shrink concerns, including operational shrink, receiving discrepancies, negative inventory, pending inventory, cycle counts, and all applicable reporting.
• Responsible for entering, modifying, and auditing inventory adjustments.
• Understand what the reason codes for adjustments represent and how they affect store inventory and shrink.
• Responsible for maintaining accurate filing of paperwork and forms.
• Responsible for coordinating and communicating monthly, quarterly, or special event inventory
• Coordinate and help lead the store team member during the annual inventory count. This includes the prep, organization, training, variances, and authorization of the count.
• Ensures the completion of Return to Vendor/Warehouse and Defective Return Processing.

Job Requirements and Education :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• 2 years of retail inventory, logistics, or warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to be certified to operate a forklift.
• Basic computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office Suite preferred.
