Job summary

FedEx Supply Chain, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk I to maintain accurate inventory records and ensure proper procedures for received and shipped orders. You will verify transactions, record data, and address defective products with corrective actions.

Responsibilities include cycle counting, reporting metrics, and coordinating with other departments on inventory accuracy. This role emphasizes safety, quality, and adherence to procedures in a warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 0--2 years of relevant experience.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Ability to read, write, and interpret information.
• Basic math skills: add, subtract, multiply, divide.

Responsibilities

• Administer the cycle count program.
• Maintain and report all inventory metrics.
• Serve as liaison between departments regarding inventory accuracy issues.
• Audit, correct, track, and report errors to identify improvement opportunities.
• Research and generate reports on inventory losses or variances.
• Print and assign daily pick lists; resolve missing item issues.
• Manage recall inventory and reporting.
• Monitor and report warehouse capacity.
• Follow all company safety rules and regulations.
• Repair or report breakage according to guidelines.
• Maintain 100% quality and accuracy levels.
• Demonstrate adherence to safety rules and reporting requirements.
• Perform job functions per defined guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
