Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk I to maintain accurate stock levels and ensure products are ready for distribution. You will coordinate with team members to meet customer demand and handle claims for defective goods in a fast-paced warehouse.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 2+ years of experience in distribution, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Shift is Mon-Wed-Fri?

The Inventory Control Clerk I tracks inventory levels to ensure that all products are in stock and available for distribution in the warehouse.

• Pay rate: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
• Schedule: Mon-Weds-Thu-Fri (Tue & Thu are changeable for day off) 3:00pm - 1:30am

Qualifications you’ll bring as an Inventory Control Clerk I:

• High school diploma or GED.
• 2 or more years work experience, preferably in the distribution industry.
• Experience with Microsoft Office systems.
• This position requires the ability to read, write, and understand English at a level sufficient to perform job-related tasks effectively and safely. This includes understanding work instructions, safety protocols, and communications essential to the role. The requirement is directly related to the nature of the job and ensures compliance with workplace safety and operational standards.
