Job summary

Cellular Sales is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk in California. You will handle receipt, documentation, and tracking of goods, working with the Inventory Manager to resolve issues. Compensation starts at $17–$19 per hour, depending on experience.

The role is full-time in a store/retail environment, with typical hours Monday–Friday 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Some evenings or weekends may be required during product launches. Training and growth opportunities are provided in a team-focused atmosphere.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Preferred retail experience.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide support for Inventory Supervisor.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify shipments.
• Compare invoices with received items for accuracy.
• Record shipment data including weight, charges, and discrepancies.
• Determine shipping methods based on routes and rates.
• Deliver or route materials to departments.
• Pack, label, and prepare materials for shipping.
• Confer with appropriate personnel to resolve issues such as damages or shortages.
• Requisition and store shipping materials.
• Ensure proper stock levels in stores.
• Understand warranty/returns policy per vendor.
• Date and rotate product.
• Clean and maintain the inventory closet.
• Conduct physical inventory of the inventory closet.
• Move inventory around the market.
• Assist with RA process.
