Ingram Content Group in Fort Wayne, IN is hiring an Inventory Control Clerk for first shift to perform daily cycle counts, verify inventory with RF terminals, and resolve discrepancies. The role requires physical stamina and forklift operation, with a Monday–Friday schedule and a starting wage of $17.50 per hour.

The position involves identifying and correcting stock locations, researching shortages, and ensuring inventory accuracy across titles, ISBNs, and prices.

Qualifications

• 1 year of consecutive work experience
• 6 months work experience which included walking, standing, lifting/carrying, pushing/pulling, gripping/grasping, bending, squatting/kneeling, twisting/turning, climbing, crawling, reaching above shoulders, typing/keyboard
• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
• Ability to pass physical examination that includes testing for satisfactory vision (distance, peripheral, and depth perception) and hearing exams for safe operation of motorized equipment
• Ability to pass motorized equipment certification
• Ability to escape up to 25 feet in height on equipment
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 60lbs during the assigned shift – 10lbs or less continuously and 11-60lbs frequently
• Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
• Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
• Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends
• Exposure to wide range of temperatures

Responsabilités

• Performs daily cycle counts such as Force/Counts, Problem Titles, and randomly selected titles and enters quantity into RF terminal.
• Performs line by line verification by scanning location and ISBN into RF terminal to verify correct title, ISBN, quantity, and price; flags discrepancies; enters found product information into RF.
• Verifies discrepancies and consolidates misplaced product into one location.
• Researches titles on slash report to determine stock depletion or misplacement.
• Validates discrepancies from cycle counts and adjustments.
• Works Empty Reports for Overflow and Forward Pick areas to verify title presence.
• Performs cycle counts on over Ships and Possible Gains Reports to verify discrepancies.
• Operates motorized equipment (forklift).
