Cellular Sales is seeking an Inventory Control Clerk to handle the receipt, documentation, and tracking of goods in a fast-paced retail environment. You will coordinate with the Inventory Manager, monitor stock levels, verify shipments, and support the RA process as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma and may include lifting up to 50 lbs and occasional after-hours tasks. This full-time position offers stable hours in a store setting, with opportunities to grow within the Verizon

Qualifikationen

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Retail experience is preferred.

• Provide support for Inventory Supervisor.
• Examine contents and compare with records to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipments.
• Compare merchandise invoices to items received to ensure shipments are correct.
• Record shipment data (weight, charges, space, damages) for reporting and recordkeeping.
• Determine shipping method for materials using knowledge of procedures, routes, and rates.
• Deliver or route materials to departments.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage for shipping.
• Rectify problems such as damages or shortages with appropriate parties.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies.
• Ensure proper stock levels in stores.
• Understand warranty/returns policy per vendor.
• Date and rotate product.
• Maintain inventory closet and conduct physical inventories.
• Move inventory around the market.
• Support the RA process.

Job Description

Summary/Objective

Handle the receipt, documentation, and tracking of goods. Communicate with Inventory Manager regarding issues or status of merchandise. Be flexible to support changing priorities and needs. Compensation starting between $17-$19 an hour, depending on experience.

Essential Functions

• Provide support for Inventory Supervisor
• Examine contents and compare with records, such as manifests, invoices, or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.
• Compare merchandise invoices to items actually received to ensure that shipments are correct.
• Record shipment data, such as weight, charges, space availability, damages, or discrepancies for reporting, accounting, or recordkeeping purposes.
• Determine shipping method for materials, using knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.
• Deliver or route materials to departments.
• Pack, seal, label, and affix postage to prepare materials for shipping.
• Confer or correspond with appropriate person(s) to rectify problems, such as damages, shortages, or nonconformance to specifications.
• Requisition and store shipping materials and supplies.
• Compute amounts, such as space available, shipping, or storage.
• Ensure proper stock levels in stores
• Understand warranty/returns policy per vendor
• Date and rotate product
• Clean and maintain the inventory closet
• Conduct physical inventory of the inventory closet
• Move inventory around in the market
• Help with RA process

Physical Demands

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. During special device launches nights and weekends will be required.
