The role requires strong analytical abilities and attention to detail, with duties including cycle counts, data updates, and coordinating replenishment, shipping, and receiving.

You will collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure stock organization and labeling, monitor levels, and generate actionable reports for management.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a 2nd Shift Inventory Control Clerk, you will be responsible for maintaining precise inventory records, conducting regular audits, and coordinating inventory replenishment. Your meticulous attention to detail and strong organizational skills will contribute to our overall efficiency and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate should possess excellent analytical abilities, effective communication skills, and a solid understanding of inventory management principles. Our ideal candidate can be available from 11:30am - 8pm.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

• Perform regular inventory counts, ensuring accuracy between physical stock and records
• Utilize inventory management software/systems to update and maintain inventory data
• Conduct routine audits to identify discrepancies, investigate causes, and implement corrective measures
• Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure proper stock organization, storage, and labeling
• Monitor inventory levels and initiate replenishment request to ensure adequate stock availability
• Assist in the coordination of shipping, receiving, and order fulfillment processes
• Analyze inventory reports to identify slow-moving items, obsolete stock, and potential stockouts
• Generate accurate inventory reports and provide insights on inventory performance to management
• Investigate and resolve any inventory-related issues or discrepancies in a timely manner
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety guidelines and procedures

NECESSARY KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER CHARACTERISTICS

• Proven experience as an inventory control clerk or similar role, preferably in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Strong mathematical and analytical skills with a keen eye for detail
• Load and unload trucks as needed, ensuring proper handling and storage of materials
• Drive company trucks as required (Non-CDL, License Class C may be required)
• Adhere to OSHA and company safety standards at all times
• Collaborate with team members and foster a positive and cooperative work environment
• Physical stamina to perform regular inventory counts and lift/move heavy items, as required

Pay Scale

$20.00 - $22.000 per hour
