Job summary

Getinge Fraser is seeking an Inventory Control Associate (Operator) in Fraser, MI. This role focuses on stocking, cycle counts, and proper storage of products to support efficient operations.

Responsibilities include FIFO/FEFO stock handling, shipment prep, inventory accuracy checks, and variance investigations. The position requires attention to detail, strong communication, and the ability to work overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and understand written and verbal job instructions and procedures.
• Written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to pay close attention to detail.
• Ability to analyze inventory discrepancies quickly and accurately.
• Good organizational skills.
• Use of Computer, Hand-Held Scanner, Manual and Electric Pallet Jack, Tape Machine, Tape Gun, Razor Knife, Automatic Banding Machine, L-Bar, Scale.
• Availability for overtime and weekend work when needed.
• Sit down forklift, stand up forklift, pallet rider and Turret stock picker certifications must be obtained within the first 6 months.
• MHE license or ability to obtain one.

Job Overview

Environmental/Safety/Physical Work Conditions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. independently, and over 50 lbs. with assisted lift. (not having any weight restrictions)
• Safe handling of hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals for distribution.
• Ability to analyze and solve problems.
• Work in Hot or Cold environment depending on the season.
• Frequently required to sit, stand, bend, reach, grip, push, pull, lift, carry and walk throughout the warehouse.
