Job summary

Nordson Product Assembly is seeking an experienced inventory control professional to perform daily counts and reconcile data in accordance with company policies. You will participate in root-cause analysis and support NBS Next culture activities.

The role involves counting, data maintenance in SAP, and collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate material records and smooth operations.

Qualifications

  • Experience in inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
  • Familiarity with SAP and data accuracy in material transactions.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams to support counts and data integrity.

Responsibilities

  • Monitors count completeness reports; identify materials to be counted; helps ensure 100% count completeness.
  • Conducts daily counts, reviews results; determines cause of errors, codes count accordingly.
  • Inputs/maintains count records and reports via SAP.
  • Accurately performs material transactions and Master Data maintenance as assigned.
  • Works with representatives from a broad range of functional areas (customer service, warehouse, accounting, purchasing, receiving, assembly, etc.).

Job Summary

Conducts daily counts and reconciliations in accordance with Nordson’s established Inventory Control, Safety and Quality policies and procedures. Assists in root-cause analysis and problem solving. Participate in NBS Next culture activities.

Essential Job Duties And Responsibilities
  • Monitors count completeness reports; identify materials to be counted; helps ensure 100% count completeness.
  • Conducts daily counts, reviews results; determines cause of errors, codes count accordingly.
  • Inputs/maintains count records and reports via SAP.
  • Accurately performs material transactions and Master Data maintenance as assigned.
  • Works with representatives from a broad range of functional areas (customer service, warehouse, accounting, purchasing, receiving, assembly, etc.).
Education And Experience Requirements
  • High school diploma or G.E.D.Some college preferred.
  • Minimum 3 to 5 years in inventory control, materials, production, or cost accounting environment.
  • Cycle count and record reconciliation experience preferred.
Preferred Skills And Abilities
  • Knowledge of SAP, manufacturing, and inventory control functions.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter
  • Math/numeric aptitude
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities, ability to multi-task.
