Job summary

Sephora, located at the Mississippi Distribution Center in Olive Branch, MS, is seeking an Inventory Control Associate. The role covers inventory control activities, order accuracy, and support for receiving, picking, packing, replenishment, and shipping operations.

You will perform cycle counts, investigate missing products, handle damaged goods as per agreements, and assist with audits to uphold Sephora’s quality standards.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Together, we belong to something beautiful.The primary responsibility of the Inventory Control Associate is to perform a variety of inventory control activities to maintain the accuracy and integrity of the product within the distribution center to support the receiving, pick, pack, replenishment and shipping activities of the business using specified processes and procedures. Essential Functions of Job:Perform inventory control activities encompassing the following: overflow/cycle counts, researching missing product for orders, handling damaged product per company/vendor agreements.Respond to questions from co-workers concerning product location and status.Conduct audits on packed orders to ensure quality standards are met per Company standards.Perform slotting and cubiscan activities for Retail Operations.Put together special promotional packages and gift bags.Inventory and track samples for Dotcom orders.Perform area maintenance per established company standard operating procedures.Follow all Company, state and OSHA safety rules, policies and regulations to ensure safe working practices, including proper work attire; report safety violations and potential safety violations to appropriate supervisory or management personnel.Comply with all Company Loss Prevention policies and procedures, including proper work attire.Maintain regular and acceptable attendance as set by Sephora.Maintain a flexible work schedule and adhere to the requirement of working any designated shift and overtime as requested per business and operational needs.Pro-actively respond to direction from leadership team, including Shift Coordinators, management staff and other departmental personnel.Provide high quality internal and external customer service per company standards.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Familiarity with WMS software or previous experience using menu driven applications.Familiarity of warehouse layout or the ability to learn layout.Ability to operate RF terminals to successfully track product in the warehouse.Basic math skills and demonstrate an ability to match numbers.Ability to multi-task.Demonstrate effective problem-solving.Ability to work independently.Detail oriented.Ability to understand other functions of the business as they apply to position.Possess a positive and enthusiastic demeanor.Supervisory Responsibilities:NoneWorking Conditions:Moderate but varying temperature and humidity in office and warehouse environments.Physical Requirements:Must be able to stand, sit, squat, lift and /or walk for the duration of the scheduled shift.Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.Minimum Qualifications:Previous experience working in a distribution/warehouse environment preferred.High School Diploma or equivalent.Starting base pay is $19.10 - $20.45/hr. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay.
