Job summary

HD Supply Canada, Inc is seeking an Inventory Control Associate for a 10pm–8:30am, Sun–Wed shift at our Northlake, IL distribution center. You will act as a point of contact for inventory tasks and operate material handling equipment to move merchandise within the facility.

The role focuses on monitoring inventory, performing cycle counts, auditing stock, researching discrepancies, and helping with correct placement of items. Strong attention to detail and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED strongly preferred.
• Generally 2–5 years of experience in inventory control.
• Experience operating material handling equipment.
• Ability to record and monitor inventory accurately.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain inventory in the distribution center.
• Record received and stocked merchandise and perform cycle counts.
• Audit inventory to align with daily order processing.
• Research and resolve inventory discrepancies per procedures.
• Assist with placement of inventory based on size and demand.
• Load damaged merchandise into delivery vehicles using equipment.
• Maintain inventory control manuals and perform general warehouse duties.
