Job summary

Iberia Foods in Miami is seeking an Inventory Control professional to manage storage rotations and maintain accurate stock levels. The role includes cycle counting, reconciling inventories with the computer system, and generating management reports.

You will ensure FIFO flow, monitor security to prevent shrinkage, and support upgrades to the inventory system under supervision. Forklift operation may be required to move bulk goods.

• Set up rotation of bulk storage area.
• Control inventory levels by conducting physical counts (cycle counting) and create inventory documentation.
• Daily cycle counting.
• Set up bulk area rotating with FIFO.
• Review inventory fulfillment from purchasing department.
• Reconcile/validate physical inventory to computer system, analyze variances.
• Assess inventory reports and order patterns to identify items for automatic, recurring delivery.
• Provide inventory reports to management.
• Manage and maintain inventory system; facilitate upgrades to related database and/or software under manager guidance.
• Investigate, analyze root causes.
• Monitor for short-dated overstock.
• Monitor and enforce security measures to prevent inventory shrinkage.
• Operate forklift truck when necessary.
• Control KPIs or order selectors.
• Spot checks for accuracy.
• Monitor inbound shipments to ensure timely receipt/return to avoid demurrages/per diem.

We are seeking an Inventory Control to join our team in Miami!

Pay is $19-$21 per hour commensurate with experience.

Duties/Responsibilities

• Sets up rotation of bulk storage area
• Controls inventory levels by conducting physical counts (cycle counting) and creates inventory documentation.
• Daily cycle counting
• Set up bulk area rotating with FIFO
• Reviewing inventory fulfillment from purchasing department
• Reconciling/validating physical inventory to computer system, analyzing variances
• Assesses inventory reports and order patterns to identify items in need of automatic, recurring delivery.
• Provides inventory reports to management
• Manages and maintains inventory system; facilitates upgrades to related database and/or software under the direction of manager.
• Investigates, analyzes root causes
• Watch short date overstock
• Monitoring and enforcing security measures to prevent inventory shrinkage
• Operates forklift truck when necessary
• Controlling KPI’s or order selectors
• Spot checks for accuracy
• Monitoring inbound making sure containers are received/returned in a timely fashion to avoid demurrages/per diem.
