Job summary

ChampionX in Odessa, TX is seeking an Inventory Controller to manage yard activities and ensure precise receiving, tracking, and storage of equipment. You will work with the Operations, Inventory Control, Logistics, and Asset teams to prioritize tasks, maintain records, and support safety and LEAN initiatives.

The role demands at least 1 year of related experience, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while using Microsoft

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in shipping, logistics, warehouse operations, inventory control, or supply chain coordination.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask across multiple computer programs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; SAP experience a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan maintenance activities for a designated location.
• Coordinate priorities with Operations, Inventory Control, Logistics, and Asset teams.
• Manage equipment receiving and assess arrival against maintenance needs.
• Create reports for deficiencies upon equipment arrival.
• Open repair work orders and document service for scheduled assets.
• Organize equipment queues by priority and station needs (wash, test pit, bays).
• Coordinate with Stores to assign and deliver materials to workstations.
• Supervise Yard Crew for washing and driving where employed.
• Assist with asset counting and equipment list management.
• Support LEAN, safety, and continuous improvement programs.
