Job summary

Pet Food Experts (PFX) is seeking an Inventory Control Associate to maintain accurate inventory reporting through cycle counts and quality control verification. You will read work orders, review incoming product spreadsheets, and ensure correct pick quantities.

This role requires reliability, a flexible schedule, and the ability to work both independently and with a team. We offer competitive pay ($19.50–$21.50/hr DOE), full benefits, and opportunities to grow with a national network.

Qualifications

• Read, write and understand English and identify numbers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and follow-up skills.
• Strong attention to detail and good time-management.
• Independent problem solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Proficient computer skills; experience with Infor preferred.

Responsibilities

• Read work orders and follow verbal instructions for assignments.
• Review spreadsheets to locate new products arriving at the facility.
• Slot items and maintain correct min/max pick amounts by product type and velocity.
• Assist with quality control issues including defects and updated min/max.
• Prepare product for distribution for close-out based on reports.
• Follow GMP and safety procedures in daily tasks.
• Maintain reliable attendance and a positive, professional attitude.

What You'll Do:

The Inventory Control Associate is responsible for maintaining accurate reporting of inventory through cycle counts and quality control verification.

• Read work orders and receive verbal instructions for work assignments
• Review spreadsheets to locate new products that will be arriving in the facility
• Slot items and maintain correct minimum and maximum pick amounts based on the type and velocity of the product
• Assist departments with quality control issues including: out-of-date product, new minimum and maximum pick amounts and products affected by manufacturer defects
• Prepare product to be distributed for close-out based on specific reports
• Perform functions, accountabilities and supporting activities while complying with safety procedures, rules and regulations including GMP guidelines
• Candidate must have reliable transportation, flexible schedule, solid attendance and a positive, professional attitude

• Experience with Infor, preferred

Requirements

Starting Pay: $19.50-$21.50 per hour DOE

Schedule: Tuesday- Friday: 5:00am- 3:30pm
