Job summary

Ryder is seeking an Inventory Clerk in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania to join a fast-paced warehouse team. The role includes cycle counts, audits, inventory control, and supporting supervisors to maintain accuracy and efficiency.

Weekly pay, paid training, medical/dental/vision benefits, a 401(k) with match, PTO, and employee discounts are available. Third shift offers a $1.50/hour premium for overnight hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Warehouse experience and forklift operation preferred.
• Experience with Microsoft Office applications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits.
• Conduct audits of inbound and outbound shipments.
• Participate in physical inventories as necessary.
• Provide floor support to Supervisors and hourly staff on inventory issues.
• Resolve inventory discrepancies as needed.
• Maintain GMPs with safety focus.
• Ensure inventory accuracy to meet client demands.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay $21.50 per hour
• Additional Pay: $1.50 per hour when working third shift
• Schedule: Third Shift - Wednesday 12:00 am-6:00 am, Thursday-Saturday 6:00 pm-6:00 am

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent perferred
• One (1) year or more previous warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Depending on location may be required to be equipment certified
• Ability to recognize and read location, date and product codes
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors)
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
• Flexibility to operate and self-driven to excel in a fast-paced environment
• Capable of multi-tasking, highly organized, with excellent time management skills
• Detail oriented with excellent follow up practices
