Job summary

Woodlandsmed in Mobile, AL is seeking an Inventory Clerk to join our team. You will process purchase transactions, receive goods, and maintain accurate inventory records to ensure PO specifications are met.

This contract-to-hire role follows a Monday–Friday schedule, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, with benefits after eligibility. Candidates should have 5+ years in receiving/shipping, strong attention to detail, and proficiency with Outlook and Excel. Forklift certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in receiving and shipping.
• Proficiency with imperial measurements (inches, feet).
• Forklift certification is an asset.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase transactions and receive goods both physically and within the system.
• Verify incoming items match purchase orders and meet quality standards.
• Organize and manage incoming shipments.
• Ensure timely supply of materials to production teams.
• Update inventory systems after each transaction or job.
• Conduct weekly inventory counts of consumables.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
• Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and tools.
