Job summary

Hunter Hamilton is seeking an Inventory Clerk in Northfield, IL for a temporary assignment (2+ months) to lead a full chemical inventory across R&D labs, document in tracking systems, and apply barcode labels to chemicals and equipment.

You'll work with lab staff and the EHS&S team to ensure inventory practices meet safety and operational protocols, with an option to extend and provide backup reception when needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and willingness to learn specific database and web applications.
• Ability to work onsite at the Northfield office.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Complete a full chemical inventory of all R&D labs, ensuring every chemical is accounted for and documented.
• Document chemical inventory information accurately in designated systems.
• Apply inventory barcode labels to chemicals and equipment for tracking and identification.
• Collaborate with laboratory staff and the EHS&S team to ensure inventory processes align with safety and operational protocols.
• Provide potential backup reception coverage, including answering phones and assisting with visitor management.
