Job summary

Cencora is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Clerk for its Brooks, KY distribution center. The role is full-time, Tuesday through Friday, start times early morning, with overtime as needed.

Responsibilities include counting bulk merchandise, adjusting inventory, researching discrepancies, processing returns and recalls, and supporting internal and external customers. Requires a HS diploma and familiarity with Word and Excel.

  • Adjusts inventory levels as needed.
  • Researches discrepancies in inventory.
  • Requests returns authorizations, pulls products, ships returns/recalls.
  • Provides internal and external customer support.
  • Assists with physical inventory.
  • Develops and implements new processes and procedures when necessary.
  • Supports Inventory Department with tasks like placing purchase orders and monitoring service levels.
  • Complies with policies, safety rules, and DEA regulations.
  • Overtime may be required and participation in physical inventory.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift Details

Full-Time | Tuesday - Friday | 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM or Finish (Overtime may be required)

Pay starting at $21.00/hr. with potential of earning opportunities including shift differentials and performance incentives.

Responsibilities
  • Accurately counts bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations.
  • Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels.
  • Researches discrepancies as it relates to inventory levels, as needed.
  • Requests return authorizations, pulls product, packages and ships returns and recalls.
  • Provides internal and external customer support.
  • Assists with physical inventory.
  • Develops and implements new processes and procedures when necessary.
  • Supports the Inventory Department with a variety of tasks such as placing purchase orders, writes narcotic blanks, monitors service levels and breaks down deals.
  • Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
  • Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.
Experience and Educational Requirements

Requires completion of a high school diploma, general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of experience and education. Normally requires less than one (1) year of equivalent work experience.
