Job summary

Cencora is seeking a warehouse support associate in Ohio to back our distribution services. The role supports inventory control, shipping and receiving, and interacts with internal and external customers.

You will count stock, adjust quantities, research discrepancies, process returns, and assist with physical inventories. Ability to follow procedures, learn new processes, and maintain accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years in warehouse support, distribution operations, or related field.
• Strong communication and math skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Count bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations.
• Perform adjustments on inventory levels.
• Research discrepancies as it relates to inventory levels.
• Request return authorizations, pull product, package and ship returns and recalls.
• Provide internal and external customer support.
• Assist with physical inventory.
• Develop and implement new processes and procedures when necessary.
• Support the Inventory Department with tasks such as placing purchase orders, monitoring service levels, and breaking down deals.
• Comply with policies, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime and participate in physical inventory.

This role is in support of Cencora's distribution services in the US operating through our AmerisourceBergen business.

Shift-Monday-Friday 7:00am-3:30pm

Responsibilities

• Accurately counts bulk merchandise in primary warehouse locations.
• Performs appropriate adjustments on inventory levels.
• Researches discrepancies as it relates to inventory levels, as needed.
• Requests return authorizations, pulls product, packages and ships returns and recalls.
• Provides internal and external customer support.
• Assists with physical inventory.
• Develops and implements new processes and procedures when necessary.
• Supports the Inventory Department with a variety of tasks such as placing purchase orders, writes narcotic blanks, monitors service levels and breaks down deals.
• Complies with all appropriate policies, procedures, safety rules and DEA regulations.
• Must be able to work overtime when necessary and participate in physical inventory.
• Performs related duties as assigned.

Education

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience required.

Work Experience

• 2+ years of experience in warehouse support, distribution operations, shipping, receiving, inventory control, material handling, or a related field required.
