Job summary

DLF North America in La Crosse, WI is seeking an Inventory Clerk to manage all inventory activities at the La Crosse location, reporting to the Inventory and Demand Planning Manager. The role focuses on cycle counts, stock rotation, and bin consolidation.

90% of time in warehouse performing duties, with 10% computer work using Excel and Navision. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and operate a forklift.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with 1–3 years in warehouse/inventory.
• Proficient math and attention to detail for cycle counts.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Navision and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cycle counts and ensure FIFO stock rotation.
• Label pallets and bin contents, manage bin visibility in the warehouse.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize warehouse space.
• Forklift driving and ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Assist with inventory questions and transfer items in/out of LX Hospital inventory.
• Spend 90% time in warehouse; 10% computer work (Excel, Navision, PowerPoint).

About The Job:

The Inventory Clerk will be responsible for all inventory related activities at the La Crosse location.

Reports to: Inventory and Demand Planning Manager

Job Summary:

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for a wide variety of inventory activities that include performing daily cycle counts, stock rotation and pallet/bin consolidation.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities:

• Ensure pallets and bin are properly aligned within Navision
• Ensure all pallets have appropriate labeling (LP’s)
• Bin management/including bucket bins to ensure proper transaction
• Stock Rotation (FIFO) ensure oldest lots are positioned in warehouse properly
• Perform La Crosse location daily cycle count
• Assist warehouse staff with inventory related questions
• Manage LX Hospital inventory – make sure items are getting properly transferred in and out
• Ensure receipt/mixer out/mixer in and put away bins are cleared weekly
• Give recommendations for low germ, old seed blend off, write off action plans
• Organize inventory in warehouse
• Maintain high levels of accuracy in inventory integrity
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Forklift Driving Required
• Ability to lift 50 pounds

Other Duties as assigned

• 90% of time will be spent in warehouse performing above tasks
• 10% computer work (i.e. excel, outlook, Navision (ERP), power point)

Qualifications:

• Education & Experience: Minimum of a high school degree and one to three years of relevant warehouse/inventory management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Skills:

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, product tags, transfer requests, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Proficient math skills.
• Knowledge of general business computer software and aptitude to learn new software applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, power point) and Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
• Ability to meet physical requirements including standing, sitting, and walking throughout the day; repeated twisting at the torso while lifting and pulling inventory from shelves; regular lifting of up to 50 pounds.
• Forklift operation certification

Preferred

• Experience streamlining processes and eliminating waste to keep costs low while maintaining high quality products or services.
