Superior Ambulance Service, Inc. in Ohio is hiring an Inventory Clerk to maintain stock levels, restock supplies and keep accurate inventory records for office and medical items across multiple locations.
The role involves receiving, stocking, labeling, counting, and delivering supplies, coordinating with station managers and the Sr. Supply Chain Manager, and supporting HIPAA/HazMat compliance, with travel to other sites as needed.
History of the Company: Superior Ambulance Service started in 1959 with one ambulance and today is the largest independent, locally owned, and operated emergency medical services provider in the Midwest. Superior employs more than 4,000 licensed EMTs, Paramedics and Nurses, operating a fleet of more than 800 ambulances throughout Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Michigan, and Wisconsin. Superior also provides Critical Care, helicopter, and fixed wing emergency medical transportation.
Under the direction of the Sr. Supply Chain Manager, the Inventory Clerk is responsible for maintaining inventory control records and restocking supplies (office and medical). Daily tasks include receiving, stocking, storing, transacting, counting, and delivering supplies, materials, and equipment needed for the daily operation of Superior Ambulance Service.
The primary duties and responsibilities of the Invenotry Clerk consist of, but are not limited to the following:
Maintains accurate stock levels while receiving, stocking, storing, transacting, counting and delivering of supplies.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is consistently required to sit; use hands, fingers, handle, feel; and talk, hear & see. The employee is frequently required to stand and walk. The employee is occasionally required to reach with hands and arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include ability to adjust focus. The employee is occasionally required to work under high pressure in a fast-paced environment with employees in 3 states in multiple locations. Travel to other company and locations are required to conduct inventory and assist with restocking. Lifting requirements of a minimum of 75 lbs.
While performing the duties of the job, the employee is regularly in verbal contact with others and constantly works face-to-face with and around others. Consistently uses office equipment such as computers, typewriters, copy machine, fax machine, telephone, keyboard, calculator, stapler, etc.
