Job summary

The Suddath Companies are seeking an Apply: Houston, Texas-based Check In and Inventory Specialist to support daily warehouse and delivery operations. You will work with Independent Contractors and warehouse leadership to ensure accurate check-ins, inventory accuracy, and timely fulfillment.

You should have at least two years in warehouse or inventory control, strong customer service, and proficient English for paperwork.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years’ experience in warehouse or inventory control positions.
• Strong customer service orientation and detail focus.
• Ability to read, speak, and write English effectively for paperwork and directions.

Responsibilities

• Support daily check-in and check-out activities for Independent Contractors and route documentation.
• Audit delivery documentation for accuracy and compliance with procedures.
• Assist with load-out and route support to ensure timely delivery execution.
• Verify inventory transactions including haul-away, returns, and movements for accuracy.
• Process, tag, organize, and store returned merchandise in designated locations.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in delivery docs, returns, and inventory counts.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with inventory control processes.
• Support warehouse organization, cleanliness and safety initiatives; follow security procedures.
