Job summary

Quantum Services in Smyrna, TN seeks an Inventory Associate to perform routine stock counts and audits at local convenience stores. You will start early each day on a regional route, with Mondays–Fridays and weekends off, and travel with your team to client sites. Training is provided from Day 1, and you’ll work a 36–42 hour week with paid travel time.

Position includes medical, dental, vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, and tuition reimbursement as part of the benefits.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-accuracy physical stock counting and inventory control audits inside convenience stores and gas stations using handheld counting equipment.
• Count stock across sales floors, stockrooms, walk-in coolers, and freezers.
• Identify inventory variances, reconcile discrepancies, and provide clear daily audit reports to store managers.
• Travel and carpool daily with your regional team to client store locations.

Location: Smyrna, TN

Pay Rate: $20/ hour (Paid bi-weekly) | Full-Time

Schedule: Monday - Friday | Weekends Off

Travel Details: Daily local travel on a regional route within a 2-hour commute of Smyrna, TN (Paid travel time included)

What You'll Do

Schedule & Hours

• Morning Start & Departure Times: Daily store audits typically kick off on-site at 6:00 AM. Departure times depend on travel distance to the first store (drive times can range from 30 minutes up to 2 hours,requiring departures as early as 3:30 AM - 4:00 AM).
• Shift End Times: End times vary daily based on store workload and drive distance (typically concluding between 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM upon audit completion).
• Weekly Hours: Scheduled work time (in-store auditing + paid travel) averages 36-42 hours per week (weekly hours can vary by region, with overtime opportunities available during peak auditing periods).
• Local Travel: Daily travel to scheduled store locations within the regional division area (paid travel time included).

What We’re Looking For

• Valid Driver’s License, active auto insurance, and personal, reliable vehicle ownership suitable for daily team travel and carpooling rotations (rideshare services like Uber or Lyft cannot be used to meet job requirements).
• Ability to complete background and Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) screening.
• Physical stamina to stand, bend, squat, use short step-ladders, lift up to 25 lbs, and work in cool environments (walk-in coolers).
• Early risers who enjoy active, hands-on work in a team environment.
