Job summary

PetVet Care Centers is seeking an Inventory and Pricing Operations Specialist to support a group of practices by managing inventory, implementing ordering and pricing policies, and performing quarterly counts. You will communicate with practices to answer questions about inventory management applications.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 2+ years in a veterinary practice, and basic Microsoft Excel knowledge; strong time management and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma (or equivalent).
  • 2+ years working in a veterinary practice.
  • Basic Microsoft Excel knowledge.
  • Ability to self-manage, have good time management skills, and be organized.

Responsibilities

  • Use a custom inventory application to help practices manage their inventory orders.
  • Be comfortable navigating at least one practice management software (PIMS).
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of inventory quantity on hand.
  • Monitor and set inventory pricing.
  • Accountable for updating service pricing in multiple PIMS.
  • Review quarterly inventory count reporting for accuracy.
  • Work with Regional Directors and Practice Managers to maintain inventory policies.
  • Train new practice employees to use the inventory management application.

Position Overview

The Inventory and Pricing Operations Specialist will support a specific group of practices with managing inventory, implementing and maintaining ordering and pricing policies, and performing quarterly inventory counts. This position will directly communicate with practices within the organization to respond to questions in regards to the ordering and inventory management applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Use a custom inventory application to help practices manage their inventory orders
  • Be comfortable navigating at least one practice management software (PIMS)
  • Ensure consistency and accuracy of inventory quantity on hand
  • Monitor and set inventory pricing
  • Accountable for updating service pricing in multiple PIMS
  • Review quarterly inventory count reporting for accuracy

Pay Range

$24—$28 USD
