Job summary

Windward Communities in Clearwater, FL is seeking an Inventory Analyst to manage new and existing home inventory, including coordination with manufacturers, title work, and KPI analysis. The role oversees warehouse records, turn times, and related systems to ensure accurate data and timely decisions.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and Power BI skills, experience with Salesforce and Rent Manager, and the ability to partner with Sales, Operations, and Accounting to optimize inventory

Responsibilities

• Manage the process for ordering new home orders with manufacturers and the Vice President of Inventory.
• Oversee inventory for used home acquisitions, repossessions, and abandoned homes.
• Handle all new home order changes, deliveries, warranty parts with manufacturers.
• Maintain inventory systems and reporting in Salesforce and Rent Manager.
• Collaborate with Sales, Operations, Construction, and Accounting on inventory needs.
• Communicate inventory status and actions with leadership and field staff.
• Manage home titles and title work, including abandoned/repossession homes.
• Code home expenses correctly in Rent Manager and resolve discrepancies.
• Manage capital expenditures for acquisition, setup and repairs; audit expenditures.
• Create and maintain KPI reporting and provide daily/weekly/monthly analysis.

Your Purpose

The Inventory Analyst position will be responsible for analyzing and managing home inventory. This includes responsibility for the new home order process through the manufacturer, home delivery and logistics, and ensuring accurate records and oversight of titles and title work for homes. This position will also provide accurate and timely analysis of inventory KPIs and other metrics.

What You'll Do

• Manage the process for ordering new home orders with manufacturers and the Vice President of Inventory.
• Manage inventory as it pertains to used home acquisitions, including repossessions and abandoned homes.
• Manage all new home order changes, home deliveries, warranty and non-warranty parts and service with manufacturers.
• Maintains systems and databases as it pertains to home inventory, including, but not limited to: home inventory records, construction, and turn time reporting in Salesforce, and occupancy records in Rent Manager.
• Partner with Sales, Operations, Construction, and Accounting on business needs for inventory and in resolving inventory issues.
• Communicate the status of home inventory, logistics, and critical actions needed with the Vice President of Inventory, Leadership, and Field Staff.
• Manage and maintain home titles and title work, including abandoned homes and repossession homes.
• Ensure that home expenses are properly coded in Rent Manager. Partner with the Vice President of Inventory and the Accounting Department to resolve discrepancies in account coding.
• Manage required capital expenditures for home acquisition, home set up and repairs to ensure compliance with budget and accurate balance sheet reporting. Audit expenditures as needed to ensure accurate records.
• Create and maintain accurate and timely reporting of inventory KPIs, analysis of various inventory results to provide the team with actionable and timely information on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis. Partner with other company departments to create new and useful analysis.

What You'll Need (Required Skills and Experience)

• Must be able to analyze data, solve problems and make sound business decisions under pressure.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
• Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to ensure logistic timelines are closely managed and met.
• Strong organizational and Microsoft Office skills, including Advanced Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, Power Query) and intermediate-to-advanced Microsoft Power BI (Desktop and Service)required.
• Able to effectively collaborate and partner with others.
• Able to multi-task and work independently.
• Minimum travel (less than 25%) could be required and could involve overnight travel.

What Will Make the Difference (Preferred Skills and Experience)

• Experience in manufactured housing operations, purchasing, fleet management, inventory management or related field preferred.
• Experience in Salesforce and/or Rent Manager a plus.
• Familiarity with Accounting and Purchasing systems a plus.
