PSG on-site in Grand Rapids, MI seeks a detail-oriented Inventory Accuracy Specialist (2nd Shift) to manage physical movement and computer-based tracking of inventory. Balance hands-on warehouse work with precise data entry to ensure accurate stock levels.

The role requires a valid forklift license, ability to read blueprints and operate measuring equipment, and the willingness to participate in pre-employment assessments. Standard hours are 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM with potential peer training duties.

Job Title: Inventory Accuracy Specialist (2nd Shift)

Compensation: $30.18 per hour

Hours: 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented and licensed forklift operator to manage both the physical movement and computer-based tracking of our inventory. This role requires a balance of hands-on warehouse work and precise data entry.

To be considered for an on-site interview, all applicants must successfully pass two pre-employment assessments:

• Math Test (Evaluating foundational math skills)
• Inspection and Measurement Test (Assess ability to inspect and measure accurately)

Core Responsibilities

• Material Movement: Move physical inventory, load/unload delivery trucks, and consolidate orders to prepare them for shipment.
• System Transactions: Complete all necessary software and barcode database entries to accurately log transferred, accepted, or rejected materials.
• Inventory Control: Maintain inventory accuracy by executing regular cycle counts, operating industrial scales, and filing scrap reports.
• Daily Receiving: Oversee physical and transactional receiving activities to ensure inward bound materials are accurately logged.
• Team Training: Participate in and lead peer training as operational demands require.

Basic Skill Requirements

• Technical Skills: Ability to execute digital barcode transactions and navigate standard computer technologies.
• Inspection & Measurement: Proficiency in reading blueprints and properly operating measuring and inspection equipment.
• License Requirements: Possession of a valid fork truck / forklift license.
• Core Academics: Strong reading, writing, documentation, and basic math skills.
• Precision: High attention to detail and precision.
• Testing: Ability to pass a proficiency test verifying the above technical and math skills.
