Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to provide proficient technical support for radiographic and fluoroscopic imaging, assist physicians with patient preparation and intra/post-interventional procedures, and monitor patient status during imaging care. The role requires BLS and 1 year of related experience.

CVT background and RCIS/RCES eligibility are preferred. Eligibility for certification, and completion of CEUs annually are expected to maintain credentials.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• 1 year of radiology or related clinical experience preferred.
• CVT or related health science program background is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide proficient technical support by assisting the physician with patient preparation and intra/post-interventional procedures.
• Manage supplies and devices, monitor patient condition during procedures, and assist with direct patient care.
• Operate radiographic and fluoroscopic equipment and related imaging systems.
• Educate patients and families as needed and serve as liaison for the care team.
