Job summary

Insight Global seeks an experienced training and implementation specialist to train end users on cardiovascular systems and reports. The role involves both remote and onsite delivery, with extensive travel across North America, including Canada, to train clinicians and support go-lives.

Responsibilities include designing training plans, conducting hands-on sessions, and collaborating with CPACS teams for end-to-end testing and deployment.

Qualifications

• Registered Cardiovascular professionals listed (RCIS, RCVT, AART, R.T.(R), RN) and related roles.
• 4+ years of recent experience in a hospital Cath Lab or similar setting.
• Experience creating and presenting training materials using PowerPoint.
• Solid understanding of clinical environments and healthcare operations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong presentation abilities.
• Willingness to travel ~75% across North America and possibly Canada.
• Strong documentation and organizational skills; good at end-user training.
• Familiarity with DICOM and HL7 concepts.

• Perform Current State Workflow Analysis and design Future State Workflow.

• When remote:
• Non-invasive
• 3 diff milestones
• Implementation week – remote
• Sit with customer
• Understand their needs
• Train them on reports
• Train on configuring
• 2-hour session with clinical end users
• Juggling projects – responding to customer emails
• Setting up future training sessions
• May have to jump on customer calls
• Pilot week – remote
• All end user training
• Train the super user
• Training on how to use system
• 30 min – 2 hour for group training
• Working with CPACS admin to conduct E2E testing
• Putting in a mock order
• Go-live – onsite
• Ad hoc trainings
• Lots of physicians wait until now to do training

• Conduct Current State Workflow Analysis; design Future State Workflow (including system workflow and department process workflow)
• Determine application optimization within the department and provide the customer with best practice methodologies
• Analyze unique configurations of customer sites and customize processes and training; develop training plans and documentation accordingly
• Coordinate and provide Superuser application training; ensure that all Super Users can train customer end-users and understand any unique customer site requirements
• Provide application training and support to other staff as required; identify, document, and follow-up on product feature enhancements and issues during project implementation

Skills and Requirements

• Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist, Registered Cardiovascular Technologist, Registered Cardiac Interventional Radiography, X-ray Technologist or Registered Nurse (RCIS, RCVT, AART, R.T.(R), RN)
• 4+ years of recent experience in one or more of the above roles in a hospital Cath Lab.
• Intermediate or higher level of proficiency using PowerPoint (specifically creating and presenting for the purposes of training)
• Solid understanding of clinical environments and healthcare operations
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong presentation and training abilities to a wide variety of audiences
• Must be willing/able to travel approximately 75% of the time as business needs dictate (travel includes customer sites throughout North America and possibly Canada with overnight hotel stays)
• Strong documentation and organizational skills
