Job summary

OSF HealthCare Saint Anthony Medical Center in Rockford, IL is seeking an Invasive and Cardiac Specialist for radiology procedures. You will scrub and circulate in cardiovascular, vascular, interventional radiology and neurointerventional cases, prepare devices, operate imaging equipment, and document procedures.

Mentorship, orientation and ongoing professional development are offered. New graduates are welcome; sign-on bonus of $15,000 with a 3-year work commitment is available.

Qualifications

• Graduate of AMA Approved School in Radiography.
• Registered by ARRT and licensed by Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures.
• Scrub and circulate in cardiovascular, vascular, interventional radiology, and neurointerventional cases.
• Prepare and manage catheters, guidewires, balloons, stents, and specialty devices; operate imaging equipment.
• Document procedures accurately.
• Participate in an equitable call rotation with the procedural team.

Expected pay for this position is $36.39 - $47.63/hour. Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity. This is an Hourly position.

EXPECTED PAY:

• Invasive and Cardiac Specialist I: $36.39- $47.63/hour
• Invasive and Cardiac Specialist II: $36.39-$47.63/hour (with a 3% range adjustment)
• Invasive and Cardiac Specialist III: $36.39- $47.63/hour
• (with a 3% range adjustment)

$15,000 3 yr work commitment

Overview

POSITION SUMMARY:

Provide technical assistance for selected diagnostic and interventional invasive procedures. Scrub assist for all diagnostic and interventional procedures, to include preparation and manipulation of catheters, guide-wires and other devices. Injection of contrast media and medications from the sterile field as directed and supervised by the physician. Documentation of procedures and patient information according to hospital policy. Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Qualifications

Will be working for the Coronary/Neuro Team

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Graduate of AMA Approved School in Radiography

Licensure/ Certification:

• Registered by A.R.R.T./license by Illinois Emergency Management Agency (IEMA).
• BLS

Other Skills/ Knowledge:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to be detail oriented.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• Associate degree in Radiography

Experience:

• 1 year Specialized Training
