Norton Healthcare is seeking an Invasive Cardiac Specialist - Radiologic Technologist to join our cath lab team in Louisville, KY. The role supports invasive cardiology procedures, hemodynamic monitoring, and surgical scrubbing alongside physicians, nurses, and technicians.

Qualified candidates hold ARRT and state radiology licenses, with post‑hire credentialing planned within 24 months. Prior cath lab exposure is highly valued to improve patient outcomes and workflow.

Formación

• ARRT‑verified radiologic technologist certification and state license are required.
• Candidate must have ARRT CI, CV, VI or RCIS/RCES credentials, to be obtained within 24 months of hire.
• Alternate: Temp state license with ARRT(R) credential prior to license expiration; ARRT CI/CV/VI or RCIS/RCES required within 24 months.

Responsabilidades

• Assist with invasive procedures in hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing roles.
• Support patient care and education in the cath lab and surrounding units.

The Invasive Cardiac Specialist - Radiologic Technologist demonstrates professional development and clinical competency. Utilizes the invasive cardiology process to address health educational needs for patients, families, and other health care providers; manages patient care assignments as well as other organizational tasks related to patient and unit operations; applies knowledge of growth and development needs from adolescent through geriatric patients; assists with invasive procedures in the roles of hemodynamic monitoring, circulating, and scrubbing with physicians.

Qualifications

Required:

• Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) AND State Radiology Technologist License.
• One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 24 months of hire.

OR

• Temp State License AND must obtain ARRT(R) prior to temp license expiration.
• One of: ARRT (CI) ARRT (CV) or ARRT (VI) or RCIS or RCES. Must obtain credential within 24 months of hire.

Desired

• One year in a cath lab
• Cardiac Interventional Radiography OR Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography OR Vascular Interventional Radiography OR Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist
