Savannah River National Laboratory is seeking an Intune Administrator to manage and secure endpoint devices across Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS using Microsoft Intune. You will deploy security policies, provision new devices, and maintain compliance posture across enrolled devices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 2–4 years of experience, along with the ability to obtain a DOE Q clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field and 2–4 years of relevant experience.
Ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance; US citizenship required.
Experience supporting enterprise endpoints and Microsoft 365 environments is preferred.

Job description

Intune Administrator is responsible for managing and securing endpoint devices (laptops, mobile phones, tablets) and applications using Microsoft Intune. They deploy security policies, provision new devices via Windows Autopilot, and maintain compliance posture across all enrolled devices.

Responsibilities

Configure and manage device enrollment across Windows, iOS, Android, and macOS. Utilize Mobile Device Management (MDM) and Mobile Application Management (MAM).

Implement and maintain configuration profiles, compliance policies, and endpoint security baselines.

Package, deploy, update, and troubleshoot software and applications to end-user devices.

Integrate Intune with Azure AD/Entra ID and Microsoft Defender to enforce Conditional Access and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).

Monitor device health, generate compliance reports, and troubleshoot endpoint policy issues.

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Computer Science/Technology, or related field.

2-4 years of relevant experience

For ability to obtain and maintain a DOE Q security clearance,

US Citizenship is LegallyRequired.

Two years of technical computer support

Preferred Qualifications

Practical experience managing enterprise endpoints and Microsoft 365 environments.

Strong understanding of Azure AD / Entra ID and role-based access control (RBAC).

Proficiency in PowerShell for automating deployments and system configurations.

Preferred certifications: Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate is highly preferred.

Security Clearance Information

This position will require selected candidate to be able to obtain a DOE Security Clearance.
BSRA is required by DOE to conduct a pre-employment drug test and background review that includes checks of personal references, credit, criminal records, and employment history, and education verifications. Positions with BSRA require applicants to have the ability to obtain and maintain a DOE L or Q-level security clearance, which requires U.S. citizenship.
