Job summary

Kickemuit Middle School in Warren, Rhode Island, is seeking an Intramural Pickleball Head Coach for the 2026-2027 season. This part-time role starts immediately and focuses on promoting, coordinating and improving the intramural program under the Athletic Director's supervision.

The coach will manage administration, equipment, scheduling and team activities while fostering student growth, teamwork and good sportsmanship within the school community.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of coaching or related athletics experience preferred.
• Citizenship, residency or work visa required.

Job Description

Intramural Pickleball Coach - Position available for Winter/ Spring 2026-2027 season, dependent upon funding and sufficient sign-ups.

Coaches of each interscholastic sport at Kickemuit Middle School shall be knowledgeable and skilled in the techniques of their sport. The head coach is responsible for promoting, coordinating and continually improving the interscholastic sport he/she is assigned. Every coach is directly responsible to the Athletic Director for the content, conduct and coordination of his/her program. Athletics is an intricate part of the overall education process at Kickemuit Middle School and each coach is responsible through enthusiasm, ability and determination to promote and upgrade their interscholastic program taking into account the following areas: administration, budget, rules and regulations, equipment and uniforms, team travel, scheduling, team management, & certification.

At Bristol Warren Regional Athletics, the student-athlete is expected to be a student first and an athlete second. We expect all applicants for our coaching positions to believe in the educational experience athletics provides to students and live within the rules and regulations of the program.
