The main purpose of this position is to provide English-to-Spanish and Spanish-to-English interpretation and translation services to the Hispanic community. This position is considered essential and must be available to report to work during an emergency or catastrophic event. The incumbent must obtain medical interpreter certification upon hire.

Employees in this classification may be assigned duties which require the operation of a motor vehicle. Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operator’s license valid in the State of Maryland.
