Job summary

MadBroad Media in New York is seeking an on-camera interviewer for our street interview ads. You stop people in Austin, engage them, and ask questions in the script while a director handles the camera and retakes.

Our crews film real people reacting to clients' products in cities and college towns across the country, and we cut that footage into ads for Meta. You will work with a director on each shoot and book shoots via our app, with a paid trial process to join the crew.

Qualifications

• Ability to approach strangers and start a conversation.
• Strong on-camera energy and natural speaking style.
• Able to follow a script while sounding authentic.
• Resident of Austin or nearby area.

About MadBroad

MadBroad Media is a street interview creative agency in New York. Our crews film real people reacting to our clients' products in cities and college towns across the country. We cut that footage into ads that brands run on Meta.

The role

You are the person on camera in our street interview ads. You stop people in Austin, get them talking, and ask the questions in the script. On each shoot you work with one of our directors, who runs the camera and calls retakes.

• Get at least three good interviews an hour.
• Read our field manager's notes on your footage and use them on your next shoot.

• You can stick to a script and still sound like yourself.
• You live in or near Austin.

How it works

You choose your hours. Each week you enter the times you're free in our app, and we book shoots inside them.

To get hired, you apply with a one-minute video, watch our training videos, pass a test, and film a paid trial shoot with one of our directors. If the trial goes well, you join the crew.
