Henry Ford Health in Rochester, MI is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to support diagnostic imaging procedures at Rochester Hospital. You will assist with scans, prepare patients, and handle contrast media under safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include patient positioning, operating imaging equipment, monitoring protocols, and collaborating with radiologists and physician assistants on interventional and vascular procedures. BLS and ARRT/CCI credentials are required or obtained before hire.

Competenze

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
• American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers accepted but must be refreshed to BLS
• Cardiographic Tech credentialed from CCI or Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) credentialed from ARRT or Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from CCI per hire date requirements

• Prepare and position patients and select anatomic and technical parameters accurately.
• Prepare and administer contrast media and medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Observe patient during procedure and report abnormal activity.
• Monitor protocols and recommend updates or refinements as warranted.
• Follow radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
• Able to perform specialized imaging procedures such as angio, complex vascular and nonvascular interventional and therapeutic procedures, along with assisting the Radiologist/PA.
• Ensure all activities comply with regulatory agency standards

High School diploma equivalency + 2 years cumulative experience

Associate's degree or Technical degree

Job Description

Location: Henry Ford Rochester Hospital, 1101 W University Drive Rochester, MI 48307

Schedule: Contingent- Rotating- Hours will vary per week dpendent on department needs

Qualifications

Education / Experience Required

• High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Certification / Licences Required

• BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. American Red Cross (ARC) CPR for Professional Rescuers card will be accepted upon hire but renewal must be a BLS Provider card from AHA.
• One or more of the following required:
  • Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date
  • Radiologic Technologist specializing in Radiography credentialed from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.
  • Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) preferred.
