Job summary

Sentara Norfolk General Hospital in Norfolk, VA seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic and interventional procedures. You will educate patients and families, operate equipment safely, and maintain documentation and equipment.

Overview

Perform invasive diagnostic, therapeutic, and /or interventional procedures; provide patient and family education; operate equipment safely; complete department documentation; maintain all equipment to be clean and operational; maintain adequate supply inventory for performing examinations; participate in departmental Performance Improvement activities.

Must have successfully completed a Radiologic Technology Program; must be ARRT or RCIS registered and have BLS certification. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to lift, push, and pull heavy equipment, supplies, and patients.

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay range for full-time employment is $40.10 - $60.59 hourly. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, on-call pay, overtime, shift premiums, extra-shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
