Job summary

Independence Health System at Butler Hospital is seeking a board-certified or eligible Interventional Cardiologist to join a high-volume cardiovascular service line. The role offers inpatient and outpatient responsibilities within a three-lab heart center, with mentoring in structural heart procedures and a focus on guideline-directed care.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or board-eligible Interventional Cardiologist
• Experience or interest in structural heart interventions including TAVR welcome
• Strong foundation in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics (echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, nuclear cardiology)

Responsibilities

• Provide interventional cardiology care with emphasis on guideline-directed, evidence-based practice
• Participate in multidisciplinary cardiovascular and structural heart clinics
• Share STEMI and weekend call responsibilities with partners and collaborate with APPs and surgical/electrophysiology colleagues
