Job summary

Mission Hospital in Asheville, NC is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for an Interventional Spine opening. You will provide patient-centered care in collaboration with the care team, following nursing models and standards of practice to ensure excellent outcomes.

You will assess, monitor, and document patient status, administer medications, educate patients and families, and advocate for patients throughout the care journey. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse with a BSN or ADN.

Responsibilities

• Assess the patient condition during admission and each shift, reporting changes promptly.
• Perform procedures, monitoring, or other functions as ordered by the medical provider, with thorough documentation.
• Administer prescribed medications, monitor therapeutic response, and respond to adverse events.
• Provide exceptional care by responding to patient requests and anticipating needs.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatment plans, medications, side effects, and follow-up measures.
