Job summary

MedPro Healthcare Staffing in Rocky Mount, North Carolina is seeking a travel nurse RN Interventional Radiology for a 15-week assignment. This position is 40 hours per week with days shift and a travel employment type.

You will join a team of professionals to support diagnostic and interventional procedures, provide patient education, monitor vitals, and ensure safety before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Active RN license.
• Degree from accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification.
• Eighteen months of recent Interventional Radiology experience.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures.
• Provide education to patient and family members.
• Insert and remove intravenous lines.
• Administer medications including moderate sedation.
• Monitor patient patterns and vital signs during procedures.
• Oversee safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
• Provide post-procedure monitoring.
