Job summary

Jackson HealthPros in Atlanta seeks an IR Tech to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures, while ensuring the operation and quality of film processing, patient monitoring and x-ray equipment.

Requirements include 2 years IR Tech experience with references, ARRT certification, AMA-accredited Radiologic Technologist education, and BLS/AHA BLS certification. The role supports travel contracts with housing and relocation assistance, with shifts from 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Operate and quality assure film processing, patient monitoring and x-ray equipment.

• Ensure patient safety and procedural quality throughout the interventional suite.

Job description

Join our skilled team of imaging professionals as an IR Tech and use your expertise to perform invasive diagnostic and interventional procedures. You’ll be responsible for the operation and quality assurance of film processing, patient monitoring, and x-ray equipment.

• 2 years of IR Tech experience with references
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Graduate from AMA approved accredited Radiologic Technologist programs
• BLS certification
• AHA BLS certification required
• Interventional Radiology Lab competency requirements
• Experience with GE Innova, Philips Allura, OEC 9900 C-Arm, and Ultrasound
• Experience with Y-90 Chemoembolizations, cerebral angiograms with thrombectomy and intervention, TIPSS, G-tubes, UFE, vascular access, PTC, renal biopsies, and liver biopsies
• Shift hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
• 10-hour shifts
