RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a Special Procedure Technologist to join the Physiology department at RWJ New Brunswick. The role supports the nursing and physician teams by coordinating daily technical work and assisting the Interventional Radiology team during procedures, ensuring high-quality imaging and patient comfort while adhering to safety standards.

The position is part-time, daytime hours, with 40 hours per week across four 10-hour shifts, including on-call and weekend rotation as

Qualifications

• Active ARRT and NJ DEP licenses required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum 2 years radiology experience preferred.
• Procedural Interventional Radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist nursing and physician team in coordinating daily work from a technical aspect.
• Assist Interventional Radiology team in preparation, performance and completion of examinations.
• Ensure quality control and quality assurance standards are met.
• Maintain patient comfort while achieving technical standards during procedures.
• Manage radiation safety and exposure factors.
