Job summary

StaffDNA is seeking a Radiology Technologist specializing in Interventional Radiology in Olympia, WA. You will assist in minimally invasive procedures using advanced imaging to guide interventions and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Responsibilities include preparing patients, operating fluoroscopy and imaging equipment, assisting physicians in angiograms, stent placements or biopsies, maintaining sterile technique, monitoring vitals, documenting procedures, and performing routine equipment

Qualifications

Experience as a Radiology Technologist with interventional radiology exposure.
Proficiency with fluoroscopy and imaging guidance during procedures.
Ability to maintain sterile technique and infection control.

Responsibilities

Prepare patients for interventional radiology procedures by explaining the process and positioning them appropriately.
Operate fluoroscopy and other imaging equipment to provide real‑time guidance during procedures.
Assist physicians in performing diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, such as angiograms, stent placements, or biopsies.
Maintain a sterile environment and adhere to infection control protocols during procedures.
Monitor patients' vital signs and ensure their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
Document procedures accurately and maintain detailed patient records.
Perform routine maintenance and quality checks on imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
