Job summary

TRA Medical Imaging in Tacoma, WA seeks an Interventional Radiology Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic angiography and interventional procedures under the supervision of the Site Manager and physicians.

The role requires sterile technique, radiographic equipment preparation, proper patient positioning, and adherence to ALARA principles. Per diem schedule includes 10-hour shifts, Mon-Fri, with minimum 16 hours per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an Accredited Radiologic Technology program.
• ARRT registry or registry-eligible in Interventional Radiology.
• Washington State Licensure is required.
• Current BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in accordance with TRA mission and exam protocols.
• Obtain thorough patient history related to the exam.
• Prepare radiographic/fluoroscopy equipment and position patients to capture diagnostic images.
• Maintain sterile technique and infection control throughout procedures.
• Assist providers and RNs as scrub tech when needed.
• Apply ALARA radiation safety principles to protect patients and staff.
