Job summary

The University of Florida Health is seeking a qualified radiologic technologist to perform invasive radiology procedures and provide imaging support within a sterile environment.

Candidates must possess current ARRT registration and be a licensed Certified Radiologic Technologist in Florida. Additional certification in Vascular-Interventional Technology is required within two years of employment. ACLS certification is preferred, while BLS certification is mandatory.

Qualifications

Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Current ARRT registration. Licensed by the State of Florida as a certified Radiologic Technologist. Licensed by ARRT with the Vascular-Interventional Technology Certification or obtain the Vascular-Interventional Technology Certification within two years of employment. ACLS certification preferred, if not a ACLS a BLS certification is required.Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:Employees in this position:Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purposeNOTE: A frequent driver is defined as one who uses his/her personal or Shands automobile a) at least once daily, b) at least five individual trips per week or c) drives, on average, over 150 miles per week in the performance of his/her job.
