Job summary

Sanford Health in the United States seeks a Radiologic Technologist to perform high-quality imaging with interventional equipment, ensuring clear diagnoses and minimal radiation exposure. You will operate complex equipment, adhere to safety standards, and support patient care across diverse settings.

The role includes day shifts with roughly a 40-hour work week, on-call as needed, and requires ARRT registration plus applicable state licensure.

Qualifications

• Satisfactory completion of formal radiologic technology training in an AMA approved school.
• Minimum of one year experience as a staff radiologic technologist preferred.
• Registration through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required.
• Licensure through the North Dakota Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (NDMIRT) Board is required if working in North Dakota.
• If working in South Dakota with interventional radiology, VI certification within 24 months is encouraged.
• If responsibilities in Cardiac Cath Lab, CI certification within 24 months is encouraged.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) required within six weeks of employment and re-certification as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Works to minimize the risk and duration of recovery to patients, imitating life support measures as necessary.
• Adheres to the Safety and Infection Control Policies established by Sanford Health.
• Develops understanding of patient status while maintaining confidentiality and sensitivity.
• Assists with scheduling and performing diagnostic and interventional procedures in designated units.
• Observes, evaluates, and participates in the educational processes of Radiologic Technology students.
