Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Radiologic Technologist at Newton-Wellesley Hospital to perform advanced imaging procedures and assist in diagnostic and therapeutic interventions. You will operate fluoroscopy/angiography equipment, prepare patients, and ensure their safety and comfort throughout procedures.

The role requires 2–3 years of radiology experience, an Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology, and state licensure; ARRT-R is preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology required.
• Experience in lieu of degree not accepted.
• State license required; ARRT-R certification preferred.
• 2-3 years experience as Radiologic Technologist; 1-2 years in specialized imaging preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced imaging procedures including fluoroscopy, angiography, and other specialized modalities.
• Operate imaging equipment, ensuring proper technique, positioning, and image quality for diagnosis and treatment.
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures by explaining the process, positioning, and addressing concerns.
• Monitor patient comfort and safety during procedures, adhering to safety protocols and infection control.
• Operate and maintain specialized imaging equipment, including routine checks and issue troubleshooting.
• Ensure all equipment is cleaned, sterilized, and functioning per hospital protocols.
