Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Round Rock is hiring an experienced Interventional Radiologic Technologist to join our Radiology team in Round Rock, Texas. This full-time role offers a $15,000 sign-on bonus and a Monday–Friday day shift with call rotation.

You will perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures, prepare patients, ensure imaging quality and safety, and collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and technologists.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program.
• Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT (R) certification in Radiography; current state MRT license; BLS within 30 days; ARRT-VI/ CV/ CI within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform high-quality interventional radiology procedures following physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Prepare patients for procedures, position accurately, and ensure imaging quality and safety.
• Utilize AIDET communication techniques to provide compassionate, professional care.
• Maintain sterile technique, radiation safety, and infection control protocols.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses, and technologists to support procedural flow and patient outcomes.
• Participate in the call rotation to provide after-hours coverage for urgent procedures.
• Ensure all equipment is maintained and functional; report issues promptly.
• Accurately document patient information and imaging records per standards.

Requirements

• Education: Graduate of an Accredited Radiologic Technology Program
• Experience: Interventional Radiology experience preferred
• Certification/Licensure:
• Certified by the ARRT (R) in Radiography
• Must hold a current Texas Medical Board (TMB) License as a Medical Radiologic Technologist (MRT)
• BLS Certification (required within 30 days of hire)
• Within 2 years of hire, must obtain one of the following:
• ARRT-VI - Interventional Radiography, or
• ARRT-CV - Cardiovascular Interventional Radiography, or
• ARRT-CI - Cardiac Interventional Radiography
